The first day of school is August 18th, 2022, and all kindergarten and transitional kindergarten students will attend a TK/K Orientation. This orientation is for students and parents from 8:30-10:30am. Please come to the Mammoth Elementary School MPR at 8:30, and students and families are dismissed at around 10:30am.
Save the dates 8/9/22, 8/10/22 & 8/11/22 for MES Husky Pup Days for all students and families TK-5 to come in for online registration and enrollment. MES PTO will be sponsoring a special welcome with fun and games as a welcome back to school and get to know one another. For every student registered, you will receive a taco ticket redeemable at the Latin Market food truck which will be present on August 9th and 10th only.

Also note that minimum days specific to Mammoth Elementary School are not indicated on this calendar. (November 14-17 & June 6-7).

Mono County Office of Education is offering Footsteps to Brilliance, a FREE Literacy Program for Kids Preschool to Grade 3.
Mammoth Elementary School will follow MUSD guidelines regarding air quality. We monitor the smoke and air quality daily .

Students in grades 3-5 at Mammoth Elementary will be taking the CAASPP test in May, and students in grades 5 will also be taking the CAST science test and the Physical fitness test. Please click the link for more information about state testing.

Kindergarten Round Up: 3/22/22 @5:00pm at MES
Learn how to enroll your child in Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten, meet the teachers, see the school, and pick up your Kindergarten Readiness Backpack. If your child will turn five on or before September 1, 2022, he or she can attend Kindergarten in the fall of 2022. If your child will turn five between September 2, 2022 and February 2, 2023, he or she can attend Transitional Kindergarten in the fall of 2022.
