Air Quality

Mammoth Elementary School will follow MUSD guidelines regarding air quality. We monitor the smoke and air quality daily .


We will be using Parent Square as a tool to communicate with families this year. If you have not downloaded the app or activated your account, please click here for additional information and tutorials in both Spanish and English.

2021-22 School Year Calendar

Please note that there have been some slight changes from our previous district calendar.

Also note that minimum days specific to Mammoth Elementary School are not indicated on this calendar. (November 15-17 & June 6-7).

COVID Guidance

Here is a flow chart for students and employees that experience symptoms, may have been exposed or test positive for COVID-19.


Students in grades 3-5 at Mammoth Elementary will be taking the CAASPP test in May, and students in grades 5 will also be taking the CAST science test and the Physical fitness test. Please click the link for more information about state testing.

Pajama Day & Reading Camp Out

Friday May 20, 2022
We will celebrate literacy with a reading camp out at Mammoth Elementary. Wear your pajamas and bring your favorite book.

TK and Kinder Roundup

Kindergarten Round Up: 3/22/22 @5:00pm at MES
Learn how to enroll your child in Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten, meet the teachers, see the school, and pick up your Kindergarten Readiness Backpack. If your child will turn five on or before September 1, 2022, he or she can attend Kindergarten in the fall of 2022. If your child will turn five between September 2, 2022 and February 2, 2023, he or she can attend Transitional Kindergarten in the fall of 2022.
